Math - my class has lesson 120 and a test tomorrow and Mr. Anders' class has corrections.

English - WS 6 punctuation only due tomorrow
Computers - two projects if not done has to be completed by Friday
Any late, missing, absent work needs to be completed and turned in before I go home on Fri. All of this work accept for recent work has been posted in the room.

assignment update 5-26-11
all assignments are due on Wed June 1 since we are going on the field trip on Tues. unless stated differently
First, there is a note in your child's homework folder with some reminders about the field trip.
Math - my class has lesson 118 and 117 to be completed by Wed. They should work on any other corrections up through lesson 116 also over the weekend. All work and corrections need to be turned in on Friday June 3 before I go home.
Mr. Anders' class has lesson 119 for Wed. (they also are going on a field trip on Tues.)
Reading - book report is due on Wed.

Writing Workshop - they need their sources, outline and the introduction for their paper. This is due on Wed.
Science - WS 3 due Wed.

I did not get an assignment update done yesterday because I was not able to log on.
Math - lesson 116 was due today and lesson 117 is due either tomorrow or Wed. plus corrections need to be worked on. Mr. Anders' class has lesson 119 for tomorrow or when they say it is due.
Writing Workshop - they have 15-20 note cards with their 2 sources due tomorrow - Thurs. assigned on Wed.

Memory - no memory for Friday, but work on Monthly Memory which is due May 26th if they don't want to sit with me on the bus to Lansing
Reading - WS 223 vocabulary cursive due Wed.
Science - WS 2 due Wed
English - WS 193 and WS 5 commas only and cursive on WS 5 due Thurs.
Spelling - test on the list from last Tues.

The children have been working hard on their note cards. There assignment is to have 15-20 note cards completed by this Thurs. May 26. There should be 1-2 cards for each point on their "working outlines". I also told them they'd need to write come cards for information in their introductions. Monday newsletter 5-23-11
General
The year seems to be racing to an end. Please check for notes and keep up with the information that is being sent home. This week is the Fine Arts Festival. That means we all need to be here Wed. evening. Band and Good News Choir are performing along with all other music groups. Everyone is to wear white on top and black on the bottom. Band needs to be here at 6:00 pm and the choir only should be here at 6:15 pm. The band needs to bring their instruments tomorrow (Tues) as well as Wed. They are practicing with the upper grade band. Percussion does not have bring their instruments tomorrow. I will be sending a note about the field trip next Tues. going over some details for the trip. I got a lot of coolers donated. I will email you if I need yours to be brought and I will probably have a few for back up. I still need several permission slips yet to be turned in. Plus there are still some midterms and tests or test notes that haven't been turned in.

There is a spelling test tomorrow from the list from last Tues. There are no other tests this week.

State meet participants will have practice this week and next. A schedule was sent home with them today. Other participants can clean their uniform and turn it in or check with Mr. Anders for procedures for turning it in.
Other
A note is being sent to you about the end of the year "Field Day" It is asking for volunteer help and items. Please read it and respond to it. Check on anything your child might owe for different things and get that taken care of with the office. Please help your child collect their pledges for the walk-a-thon and get that turned in as soon as possible. I am not sure but I think that is all.
