General
Notes will be sent home tomorrow about the upcoming parent-teacher conferences. This sessions is by teacher request or parent request. Please read it over and respond accordingly and return it by this Friday. STARBASE is this Friday and then the last session is Monday Feb. 14. We will exchange any valentines when we return on Mon. The Talent Show dress rehearsal is on Friday the 11th when we return. The dress rehearsal will start around 2:00 and we will come in on the end of it. Friday night is the Talent Show at 6:30 pm. It usually lasts around an hour or so. The t-shirt orders for the "Big Fish" shirts needs to be in by Friday. They will be one of the special dress days for Lutheran Schools Week and if they don't have a shirt they won't be able to participate in that days dress activity and will need to wear regular school dress.
Work
Friday's memory is Matt. 18:20 on page 65 and Numb. 14:18 on page 67. With the dress rehearsal on Friday that may get moved to either Thurs or next Mon. There will be a spelling list tomorrow and the test also will be Thurs. or Friday. There are no other tests this week, we did have a math test today so test 11A should be coming home today for my math class. The Social Studies note or test was due today, and English and Science tests or notes are due on Thurs. We are starting the chapter on the solar system in Science. In Social Studies we are learning about the English and French explorers and starting the English settlements in America. In English we are starting the chapter on adjectives.
Sports
Mr. Petzold is coaching a 5th and 6th grade basketball team that will participate in a league at Anchor Bay Sports Arena. They received information today. Read over the information carefully. If your child didn't pick up information today they can still get it from Mr. Petzold tomorrow.
