Monday letter Nov. 15, 2010

General
Thank you to everyone for making your conference on time and thank you to those of you that had to wait if I got behind. We are beginning a very busy time of the school year especially for those of you involved with basketball in some way. There are only 9 school days left for November so your child needs to be focused on completing the Monthly memory and the book report that are due on Nov. 30. We will be attending a special assembly by the Michigan Forest Heritage tomorrow morning. We will be starting school practices for the Christmas Program after Thanksgiving. There is a coffee with the principal this Thurs. in the morning and the afternoon, but not the evening because of the home basketball game. Friday is a dress down day where a non-perishable item needs to be brought in for a non dress code top and one for a non dress code bottom. There should be a list of needed items in the Trinity Leader or you can bring other items as well. Many of these items will be used to fill Thanksgiving baskets for Trinity members in need.
Work
The Friday memory is Eph. 2:8&9 on page 47. Verse nine stops at the word boast. We are having the assembly I mentioned earlier during spelling so Mrs. Meseke is giving the class a list on Thurs and doing the test next Tues. before Thanksgiving. We will have a Math test this Wed. and there will be a social studies test on Friday on the chapter 2 on the Native American and a test in science on chapter 3 next Tues. We will be working on English yet quite a while.
Sports
There are 3 home games this week - Mon. Tues. and Thurs. There is practice on Wed. and I think there is no practice on Friday. Notes were sent out about helping in the concession stand, so please check that so you know if you are working.

That is it for today.
In His Service,
Deanna Hollrah
